Enoch C. holds an MSc in Business Administration (Health) from the University of Groningen with graduate training in health economics, healthcare systems, and evidence-based decision-making. He founded MoodSupplement to apply that analytical lens to the supplement market — reading primary research, assigning evidence tiers, and stating the caveats as clearly as the claims.

How I review supplements

  • Primary research, not aggregators. Each supplement profile draws on the actual trials and meta-analyses — RCTs, systematic reviews, Cochrane assessments — not manufacturer summaries or secondary health sites.
  • Honest evidence tiers. Every supplement is rated Emerging, Moderate, or Well-studied based on the weight and consistency of human trials. One favourable study means Emerging; that rating doesn't shift because a product is popular.
  • Cautions stated plainly. Interaction risks and safety notes appear at the top of the page, not buried below the buy button. The 5-HTP serotonin-syndrome warning is the clearest example — it leads the page because it has to.
  • Support framing, never treatment claims. Supplements are described as mood, stress and sleep support. Nothing on this site claims to treat, diagnose, or cure any condition. Professional care always comes first.
